A Guardian ad litem is a position appointed by a judge to provide the Court with conclusions from an investigation into the facts in a legal proceeding. Some have described it as acting as the “eyes and ears” of the Court to increase oversight and efficiency.
Mark Dellinger serves as a Guardian ad litem in guardianships and conservatorships involving elderly and disabled individuals. He has been trained and certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia to be qualified to serve in such a role.
Mark does not serve as Guardian ad litem for minors or those incarcerated.
